Portrait of Saad Kakakhel

Saad Kakakhel

Saad leads KKCO's work with business families that want their enterprise, capital, and next generation to move in the same direction.

His perspective combines experience with family offices and private equity firms, the responsibility of building operating businesses, and a sustained interest in how institutions endure.

Experience abroad strengthened his conviction in Pakistan.

Born in Japan, Saad has lived and worked in the United States, the UAE, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Pakistan. He spent eight years in the United States before choosing to return to Pakistan.

That return was a deliberate commitment to the country's potential. Saad believes Pakistan is ready to build businesses and institutions with global reach. He speaks four languages and brings a cross-market perspective to his work with families preparing for the next generation.

Experience with families that think in generations.

Saad has advised family offices and private equity firms on investment, transaction, and strategic questions. He has also co-founded and led operating businesses, giving him direct experience with the choices owners face when capital, people, and growth compete for attention.

He is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. His role within KKCO is to keep the whole family enterprise in view while qualified specialists remain accountable for work within their professions.

Institutions endure when each generation can build.

Saad earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. There, he studied family-owned businesses, institutions, succession, and multigenerational continuity.

He learned from legacy business owners and multigenerational families that a family office is more than an investment vehicle. It can help coordinate business ownership, family affairs, philanthropy, support for family members, and qualified tax, legal, accounting, and other professional needs.

The whole family enterprise must remain in view.

KKCO brings business strategy, founder intent, successor ambition, ownership, capital allocation, and wider family responsibilities into one top-down legacy strategy.

Saad leads that work with a team that includes strategists, Chartered Accountants, tax advisers, and legal experts. The family retains authority for its decisions, and each qualified adviser remains responsible for advice within their field.

What should the next generation inherit?
